Operation Red Sleigh is a non-profit organization now in its eighth year. Local law enforcement including NC Highway Patrol started the organization to assist families in Randolph County who were in need. The Organization is provided with names of children in Randolph County that need assistance at Christmas time. There are many families throughout the area that have benefited from this program.

During the past eight years, Operation Red Sleigh assisted over 1500 families with toys, clothing and food at Christmas time. In the years past this organization has relied on donations and contributions from raffle sales and auctions. Due to the enormous demand from families in need throughout the Randolph County area our committee has elected to do a charity bicycle ride.
This ride will begin and end at the Seagrove Elementary in Seagrove, NC. This ride will consist of 20k, 50k, and 100k-bicycle ride. The charity bike ride will be on Saturday July 18th, 2009. The ride will start at 8:00am.
Prizes will be awarded to the 1st male and female for each class, as well as the oldest male and female to complete the 100k!
